On the inside, the vessels are glazed with a transparent glaze and are watertight.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"MsoNormal\"\u003eGrascolors: This series by Silke Wellenmeier is all about color gradients of drying grasses, which capture the fleeting color palette of grass changing over time. Silke Wellmeier first documented this color palette in photographs and then translated it into porcelain for her Grascolors series of vessels. This preserves the silky matt surface of the porcelain. Silke fires her ceramics at an oxidizing temperature of 1260°C, using the energy she produces herself.
