About the object: Anne Andersson's "warm place" wool seat cover is produced as a single piece, with similar combinations being created in the series, allowing for a tasteful combination within a seating group or room. Bound as a roll, the seat cushion is the perfect companion for on the go.

The seat cushion with a surface made of 100% domestic new wool is a great eye-catcher both indoors and outdoors. It conveys warmth and comfort and can be used in both elegant and colorful ways.

The material is warming, dirt-repellent, odor-resistant and breathable. Wool can absorb up to 30% of its weight in moisture without feeling wet. This means you always have a warm and dry surface when you are out and about or in the garden.

Production: The seat cover is woven by hand. The tool used is a simple weaving board, on which each seat cushion is created individually as a unique piece. The carpet wool used is spun around a core of jute or linen, the surface is pure new wool.

Anne Andersson spans the gap between classic craftsmanship and modern graphics. Her work can be described with numerous adjectives such as contemporary, timeless, experimental and sustainable. Her focus is on the design and development of practical everyday fabrics and home accessories made of linen, linen blends and wool.

Anne Andersson was born in North Friesland in 1963 and grew up there. From 1983 to 1986, she completed her training as a hand weaver with Annedore Iwersen in Flensburg and spent her apprenticeship in Flensburg and Hamburg until 1990. In 1990 she passed the HWK Hamburg master craftsman's examination. Since 1990, Anne Andersson has been running her own workshop, known as "Textil für den Innenraum" in 1993 and as "Leinengewebe zwischen Experiment und Alltagstauglichkeit" since 2006. In addition to her workshop, she has held various teaching positions at the HWK Hamburg and HAW Hamburg. In 2008, she founded her brand "ELBLINNEN - Handgewebe aus Leinen".
