About the object : This ceramic bowl made of anthracite-colored stoneware clay is unglazed on the outside and glazed turquoise with blue tones on the inside. The anthracite-colored clay has something elegant and at the same time grounding and timeless. The matt, unglazed areas contrast with the colored, glazed areas. The matt turquoise harmonizes wonderfully with the fresh colors of fruit, vegetables or citrus fruits. Lisa Rosemann produces this bowl in small series.

Production process: The bowl is turned on the potter's wheel. Lisa Rosemann produces her eye-catching glazes herself. The ceramic is fired twice in an electric kiln.

  • Lisa Rosemann's ceramic tableware and porcelain jars are dishwasher-safe, but can also be washed by hand.
by hand. Please use gentle cleaning agents and no abrasive sponges.
  • Dry the container carefully after cleaning to avoid water stains.
  • The porcelain jar is waterproof and suitable for food. However, the cork lid of the tin does not close airtight or tightly, so that the contents of the tin are not protected from drying out, volatilization, etc.
  • Please do not use the ceramics in the oven or microwave, as rapid strong temperature fluctuations can cause the ceramic to crack.
  • Ceramic pots can be rougher on the underside than pots made of other materials. We therefore recommend protecting sensitive surfaces on which the vessel is to stand from scratching if necessary.

Lisa Rosemann

Painting forms the starting point of Lisa Rosemann's artistic career and is combined with ceramics in her works to create harmonious works of art. Her reduced porcelain and stoneware vessels serve as a canvas for fascinating compositions of color and form.

Lisa Rosemann was born in Bückeburg in 1987 and has lived in Bremen as a freelance ceramicist since 2021. Her artistic career began in 2007 when she studied fine art at the HfBK Hamburg. She then continued her education at the University of Münster and completed a diploma in free painting at the KuAk Münster under Henk Vish.

From 2015 to 2017, she gained practical experience in various workshops in France, Spain and Portugal. She then spent nine months with ceramist Micki Schloessingk in Wales before completing her training in ceramics with Frauke Alber in Bremen from 2018 to 2020.

The artist herself writes: "Inspired by working in various ceramic workshops in Europe, my previous studies in fine art and my training as a ceramicist, my work brings together different styles, experiences and inspirations. I like to combine and try out the material clay. To draw, paint and scratch on the white porcelain surface. New every time. And always different."
